When to Visit Mago National Park
Rainy season: the rainfall in the park averages about 900mm a year. The wet season is March to June with a second wet season in September. The main dry season is December to February. The highest temperature is 36-400c in December- February and the lowest are 20-210c in April – June.
Vegetation
Savanna characteristics predominantly patchy grasslands, woodland, bushland, and river forests.
Things to do in Mago National Park
Wildlife viewing: it the best place to visit bigger savanna mammals like Buffalo, Elephant, Lesser kudu, Lelwel hartebeest, and Tiang among others. With Omo park, the largest concentrations of the aforementioned animals are supposed to occur in this park. The best area for the game view is its central part around Neri River.
